Haridwar -The city is situated on the right bank of the Ganges river, at the foothills of the Shivalik ranges. Haridwar is regarded as a holy place for Hindus, hosting important religious events and serving as a gateway to several prominent places of worship. Most significant of the events is the Kumbha Mela, which is celebrated every 12 years in Haridwar.

Guptakashi - Guptakashi is a fairly large town located at an elevation of 1,319 metres (4,327 ft) in the Kedar-khanda ('khanda' means "sector"), in Garhwal Himalayas of Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand, India. It is known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple dedicated to the god Shiva, which is similar to the one in Varanasi (Kashi). The other well known temple here is dedicated to Ardhanareshvara, a half man half woman form of Shiva and Parvati. The name Guptakashi has legendary significance linked to the Pandavas, the heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. Its religious importance is considered next to that of Varanasi, believed to be the most pious of all Hindu pilgrimage sites.

Chota Char Dham Yamunotri Kedarnath Badrinath Kedarnath Temple is a Hindu temple roughly 1200 years old dedicated to Shiva. The temple is located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini river, in the state of Uttarakhand, India.

Itineraries

Day 01

Haridwar – Guptkashi

Pick up from Haridwar Railway Station/Prescheduled destination and proceed to Guptkashi (It’s situated at a distance of 47 km from the holy shrine, Kedarnath) The town holds immense religious importance as it houses famous ancient temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. Have your dinner and stay overnight in the hotel/camp

Day 02

Guptkashi – Sonprayag - Kedarnath

Early morning drive to Sonprayag till Transport Parking. You have to take local vehicle/jeep to reach at Gaurikund (02 kms) at own cost. After reaching at Gaurikund, you can start trekking for Kedarnath (19 Kms one way).

Upon arrival, visit Kedarnath temple, after performing pooja again start trekking to return back to Sonprayag on right time and co-ordinate with driver who will waiting for you in Sonprayag/Phata/Sirsi on your respective time. Later back to hotel Have Dinner and Overnight Stay at Guptkashi.

About Kedarnath Temple: It’s standing magnificently at an altitude of 3,580mts, Mandakini River one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund. "Jai Bholenath - Om Nam Shivaay” chants echoes in the mountains.

(Those who want to hire Pony/Palki at own cost (Approximate Cost suggested for Pony for return journey- Poni Rs 5900/-, Palki 11770/- while those who are going by Helicopter which cost will be confirmed after the Tender Open of cost for the year of 2023.)

Day 03

Guptkashi/ Phata –Pandukeshwar / Badrinath

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, Pipalkoti.Upon arrival Pandukeshwar/Badrinath, check into the hotel and visit Badrinath Temple if time permit. Overnight stay.

(Badrinath is an important pilgrimage site which holds immense importance for both Hindus and Buddhists. Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is set at a height of 3133 meter. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. After some rest and refreshments, you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But first you have to go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take bath and then go to the temple)

Day 04

Badrinath –Rudraprayag/Srinagar

Those who have not visited Badrinath Temple earlier day have visited Badrinath Temple. Do the rituals and pooja. And back to the hotel. After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Rudraprayag/Srinagar. En route, you can drive through Karanprayag, and Rudraprayag does the darshan and click pics from the main road. Upon arrival at Rudraparayag / Srinagar, check in at the hotel.
Have your dinner and stay Overnight Stay.

Day 05

Rudraprayag / Srinagar -Rishikesh - Haridwar

Early morning, after breakfast, you drive downhill to Haridwar via Rishikesh a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. Upon arrival Rishikesh visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, Munu Ki Reti. Later drive to Haridwar (25 Kms). Upon arrival drop at Railway Station/ Airport as per your pre-scheduled departure.
